Looking for advice

Hi guys, I am working at an MNC as a front end developer. I am going to complete 4 years soon here which is no less than a nightmare. I should have switched so long ago but I am still stuck here. And it's wfh, so I have been feeling so depressed lately having no professional life. I gave some interviews last year but couldn't clear and have been feeling demotivated since then. Please help!!

Hello grapeviners. I was recently interviewing at a big MNC and gave 5 rounds of interviews. (4 Tech, 1 Managerial). I did fairly well in the interviews (according to me). Got rejected in the end and received no feedback... Just a generic rejection mail. How do you guys keep up with failures like these? Whenever I give interviews at a good company and perform well, I tend to imagine myself as a future employee in that company and how my life would be after joining there... and it really breaks my heart when I get rejected. This happened to me few times before as well and I still have no idea how to move on from feelings like these. Really interested to know what do you folks do in situations like these... How do you calm yourself down?

Hello there, I am a regular 3.5 yr exp web dev. I joined Grapevine, just to express my inner thoughts and it's much better to be anonymous. I got stuck in a void !!! Rn what I a getting is much less as per my experience. The daily routine seriously makes me feel I am a worthless and unskilled person. The type of person who if quits his job will never find another all because I am not good at anything. The main fight is I want to switch to some PM or consultant role but I am filled up with self-doubt and scared of thinking that I am unskilled regular labour, who has somehow gotten into IT... Whether you call it self doubt/laziness /indiscipline things are not helping me to grow and crack a new job with a better daily routine. Appreciate your suggestion/feedback. But please help me and suggest to me how can I get into a technical consultant or any managerial role.

I have been working with Infosys for past 5years(total exp) and my current salary is 20LPA CTC. I work on Apple projects and the work has become repetitive over the last three years, primarily focusing on Java, Spring, Microservices, and Elasticsearch. I really want to join a product company now, for better compensation and more engaging work, but I’m uncertain how to proceed. I’ve just been writing APIs and scheduled jobs, and at this point I think I know nothing beyond it. The thought of facing the interview processes of tech giants for senior roles is daunting. Where should I start from? How do I regain my competence?

I am in IT industry from past 6 years though not really invested(mind) into it. I was preparing for civil services for 4 years couldn't crack it as other failed aspirants (yet learnt lot in life). From past 2 years learning to be IT professional but yet something is lacking in me to ace it. Now i wanted to switch company and grab new opportunities but fear of layoffs is holding me back to do that. And as i have more yoe but less knowledge compared to industry standards. Will i be able to crack it ? And take up new challenges in life ? Will i be able to go through interview process and be successful at it?

Hi folks, I need some guidance to switch my current company.As UI developer, I've been working for three years in my project.But in unable to crack my technical interview.Before interview I'm preparing a lot to answer those questions.but I fail there...is there any tips to achieve my interviews and get placed in new company...Would appreciate if I get any solution

Hey all, idk what's been happening recently but I'm not able to clear any interviews, ig I mess up in managerial type questions due to nervousness and then the whole thing goes down, it's been 2.5 years since I've been working but now I feel so demotivated that I've been thinking of leaving tech. Idk what's been happening, even the companies don't provide a good reason for rejection or at least a feedback on where I went wrong,

Currently I’m a software engineer in corporate. But now my company has full demotivated environment and I’m not able to work or deliver my tasks. I’m applying for other companies also . But don’t even get interviews scheduled. What should i do? Should i go for govt jobs also? Should i resign first then decide? Should i continue working ? Should i think about career switching? My brain itself is not braining , and filled with such thoughts.

Hi I have relevant experience in a software application however I wanted to upgrade myself with a latest application as many others in my team. I phased up a lot of wait time and finally a no and have to forcefully leave the company now. I lost all my confidence and in a dilemma now of where and how can I pickup to crack a job and start performing. I had no career or educational gap Please Can anyone advise me

I started as a fresher at a big service-based company, faced a lot of politics, and was learning nothing. I realized I needed to leave it ASAP. I left it after 8 months, then was jobless for 2 months. After 2 months joined an early-stage startup, and was satisfied with my learning for a while, but in the backend team, there were only two people me and the CTO. And my dynamics with him didn't go very well. There was no culture as well, weekdays and weekends were the same. I was still fine with it but the guy (CTO) became very toxic and creepy. In 2 months, I started interviewing and I got into a mid-sized series B startup that had a good culture. I had to switch tech stack and it was more overwhelming than I thought initially. I tried to do good but I got laid off after working there for 10 months. All the way along I increased my package to a decent level. Now I feel super demotivated and underconfident and it's been 6 months since and I haven't taken up a job. With an increasing gap, I feel I have fucked up my career. In these 6 months, I have tried exploring different career options but haven't been able to crack any or have been indecisive and I feel I should just take up a job.
