AI
How far do you think AI will go? What all kinds of jobs can it replace? A boon or a bane?
AI revolution getting started: How far it will go is unpredictable at this stage.
AI taking over jobs:
Telemarketing.
Trip advisor.
Warehouse jobs.
Billing.
Customer care.
My perception is in the feature AI can take over any form of monotonous jobs.
Okay, but I feel, AI still can't completely takeover any kind of jobs. For eg., chatbots, ultimately we need to talk to a human to get our issues resolved.

I think AI is not going to be something that takes over but rather becomes an assistant to do certain jobs.
E.g.
Recruitment : Summarise Resume, Draw keypoints, Estimate resume match against job description subjectively. At the end, its the recruiter or hiring manager's job to sort through the results and get the top candidates.
Analytics : Augmented Analytics. The AI knows and understands the complete data model and pipelines. It will be able to provide the correct source and structure of the data required. At the end, its upto Analyst and Stakeholders to use the data and insights to align with the Business requirement.
Trip Advisor : Identify best routes, best places to stay, best mode of transportation, estimated cost. At the end, it will be required to have human intervention to plan the optimum trip because there is information and understanding that doesn't have a paper or web trail e.g. Talking to the owner of a stay to bargain on price, general discussion boards where people might find other travellers and opt to travel with them etc.
We, as humans, need human interaction and we are still paranoid about reasonings behind the results we get, now more than ever. In the words of Arthur Weasley : "Never trust something that can think for itself if you can't see where it keeps its brain". Although just a boom quote, I believe the general human population do believe in this.
