Incoming!. Every FAANG PM is thinking about and working on integrating Gen AI into their features. 

This includes PMs and engineers who oversee 1-2 features in the entire product. And will oversell their part in it.

For promotions to job switches these guy have to shout ‘I used a lot of Gen AI to change the world’

And then to sell it on LinkedIn for getting likes.

The PMs will sound like they were just as visionary as Sam Altman who made GPT in the first place. 

And the engineers will sound like they coded GPT and will invent AGI themselves while they just integrate 2 APIs.

You’ve been warned.

I have been working as an APM since 2 years. I wanted to do a good product management course to enhance my skills and learn more into strategy. 
One I am aware of is iim kozhikode PM course. So need to know more good courses/certifications like this.

A little background: I'm 2024 cs grad from a tier 3 university placed at Zomato as an SDE-1. Getting a good pay of ~25 LPA. 

Should I be considering a masters in AI/ML field, considering I've no prior knowledge of the field and I'm only attracted to it because of the recent rise of LLMs. 

I would be open for a masters from India or abroad. 

What are the pros and cons? Should I go for it? If yes then what's the path that you'd suggest if you've done it or someone you know who has done it? What would be some good universities to target?

I have about 5 years of experience working in sales for both product and service companies (startups and MNC). However, in the long run I don't want to be in sales. I want to eventually move into something where my work has some sort of impact. Can be: product management, business strategy, internal or client consulting or maybe something else which I'm not sure of. Every PM certification I see, it's creating robots, making learners adapt to similar way of speaking, same jargons, same processes.

A traditional PM with expertise in Product Management looking for job. Specifically planning to upskill with a technical addition to profile. Lot of jargons floating around in industry buzz AI/ML/Generative AI, Data Democratization etc. . Appreciate any advise/help here. Also any link to learning material will help.

What are the options for someone who wants to go back to college in India and does not want to do MBA? I have Btech degree from Tier 1 college. Mtech from India is not worth it. I don't want to go abroad for studying.

I am averse to MBA because I want to keep working in building tech. I want to study more to have another chance for building myself from a student tag.
