Japan is weird when it comes to surveys. Never take them seriously.
They are like the food was world class and made with love but the plates were green instead of blue, 1/5 stars.
Japan is absolute worse when it comes to work culture. Much worse than India. They glorify working overtime and are basically robots anyway.
Also culturally they are the most messed up.
Dont have sex, dont have kids, all their porn is with girl nit giving consent. Their most watched reality show is a guy who is locked up naked and hungry and has to do task to get food and cloth. Glorify committing suicide, cause "honour". Really messed up people.
@LazyCoaster not unless you are into school girls, then its best place to be. Whole country is fascinated with them like we are with Bollywood celebs.
Search "JK", waifu or kogal.
I have been to japan and the country is breathtakingly beautiful but the people have 0 emotional quotient.

India better than Sweden?
They have mandatory leaves of 1 month. You can transfer maternity and paternity to each other and 100 other great labour laws.
I have worked on independence day and Gandhi jayanti in India in some company.
This is absolute BS.

May be because they are slaves, not employees.

Hope this is sarcasm. India is 2nd top, when the mgmt wants 70 hrs? No concept of overtime, calls 24x7. Meeting late nights. Etc etc. Not even sure who gave this ratings

Oh my little sample size of an app unknown to everyone outside the privilege circle was not included in the survey. How sad.

We can't be ahead than Europe! They are the defacto when it comes to employee well being! Anything close to work life balance / living life to fullest, they would've thought of that.
Fixed working hours
Four days a week
Various labour rights
Privacy policies / laws
This survey doesn't make any sense for some countries. Or maybe wellbeing is quite subjective in nature that this could be genuine report with not so aware people on how the companiea treats it's employees all around the world
Ah McKinsey. Seems like a dark side of the company which conducted a paid review.
Indians are idiots. I had an incident and went to the ER room. Nothing was paid to me as It was not a "hospital admission". Health insurers dont even provide a fixed amount as OPD in standard health plans.
