Advice

I joined a new company 3.5 months back and my manager always finds flaws in my work. In case I did not reply to the email within 5 mins, he starts questioning my work interest and there are many such incidents. What should I do?

Suggest Two pronged approach -

  1. weather this one out - on the work front - suggest being responsive as indicated. Don’t take it to your heart.
  2. Try building out of work rapport with your manager and align your thought process - it might be that both of you need to work on it.

This will take you 3-6 months. If situation doesn’t change or becomes unbearable - talk to your HR to get you team changed and work under a different manager.

However this might be an indication of deeper issues - might be specific with that manager or else a company wide cultural issue.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try both the methods.
