Amazon contractual role
Guys whats the opinion with the contractual roles in amazon 1. What are the chances we become permanent? 2. Will the contract be extended? 3. Are we eligible for other ijp while on contract?

For some roles, Amazon is moving to contractual roles instead of FTE just to get things done and end the contract. Like Project managers, data engineers, BI engineers and support engineers
I got offer letter for the role of MHLS seasonal associate L3, is it a good role? And it's a fixed term contract, should I say yes or reject?

Can't comment just based on role, it depends based on team and manager.

Amazon has multiple (at least 3 types of) contract roles to my knowledge
- one through deputation (from infy etc, just a role, if current person quits, another person will be filled in by Infy). Here the contract can be extended indefinitely. Can't convert to full time. But you can apply to Amazon jobs being inside Amazon but as an external hire.
- via consultancy. From initial interview till end it will be based on a person, if they clear interview they will be in contract but salary will be paid by consultancy, if contract ends or cancelled, no pay no job. Here contract can't be extended after certain time, I guess it is 8 or 12 months.
- similar to above but your Consultancy will change (internally) just to extend your contract.

1. Mostly you'll get permanent if you don't have any behaviour issues, not able to complete daily targets assigned.
2. 90% no, remaining 10% depends on your manager and role requirement.
3. Nope
