How to get a blue tick/ verify my company on this platform, don’t see any options .

I have seen many accounts showing verified here. But, I can't find any option in the app to mark my profile as verified.

How to get the account verified in grapevine?

2. DMs: A polite way for users to take a few conversations deeper, and share referrals/resumes if they want to. A key worry for us would be to not make this spammy (like a few users pointed out on a recent post), while still staying helpful. 

3. Experience: A smoother, more fluid app experience coming soon

4. Moderation: As posts and comments on Grapevine increase in number - there's also a small 0.1% of users that sometimes post abusive/offensive content. We're taking these issues more seriously. We read every 'report' that you share with us and take action appropriately

5. Grapevine on Web (I swear the first build is super exciting - I'm typing this post out on an early version of Grapevine Web 😉). This should allow people to browse Grapevine while in a boring meeting 😂

6. Salaries: We're building something exciting for better salary information 💰

7. Verification: You may have seen some users on Grapevine are now verified with a blue check. Currently only launched for employees of 3 companies, we'll launch this soon for more companies. This is how we'll raise the bar on trust within Grapevine. And no, we never plan to charge for blue ticks like some other platforms. It's just a darn image ☑️

Quick Update from the Grapevine team

My father worked as a peon when I was a kid. I barely had any friends and could not afford any toys. He used to work really long hours everyday. He was sleeping when I went to school and I was sleeping when he got back from work. So we never really talked. I was not good at studies during school, later I got to know that I had severe ADHD. My teachers used to say that I am good for nothing and very talkative all my life which gave me a lot of anxiety.

I got into a CSE at a Tier 2 college. This was with the help of my cousin sister who used to tutor me after school and taught me how to think from fundamentals. 

In college my seniors used to do a lot of ragging and make us not have food in the hostel mess. I lost a lot of weight and ended up with jaundice. This was the reason why I had a very bad CGPA in first year, <6. Slowly over the years I was able to bring it over 7.

I got into a service based company after college with a CTC of 3.75 LPA. I did not have any offers and I did not have anyone for guidance in my life. That is when I started to pick up some freelancing gigs and talked to people from other countries and cultures which educated me about top tech companies. So I started preparing for that.

I was rejected a total of 4 times by Amazon which completely broke me from the inside. Meanwhile my father got stomach cancer and he passed away. To this day my deepest regret is that my father did not see me finally achieving success in my life and till his last moments I am sure he thought of me as a failure son.

As I moved through my career I made a goal of reaching Google. I prepared very hard for an entire year with a lot of studying and preparation. Finally I got into Google. My family became very happy for me as I was the first person in my entire extended family to get such a package. After a lifetime of struggle I was finally content with where I am.

My only wish is that my father was here and his struggle for providing me with the best was not wasted.

Here's the deal, I am building an AI software and I will handover the project to you with source code and all rights to do whatever with it. In exchange, I need you to be a guide for this project. I have an idea but if you have one, I can work on that too.

A guide here is someone who has a BSc/BTech/BE in CS and 5 years of proven industrial experience. If you are in academics, MCA/MTech is required. To submit your name as a guide to the university, I will need to submit scanned copies of your identity card (aadhaar or passport),  experience and education certificates. I am trying to ask the university to allow submitting documents anonymously from the guide's end but if it is not possible, I will live stream the upload process to you but I would still be able to access your documents. You will have to trust me with this one and I assure you I won't access them. It is completely safe. 

I will be able to show a working demo by the end of january and after showing you the demo, we can work on the project as per your need and grow it for the next 1 year. I will be submitting a synopsis in the next 6 months and the project next semester (another six months). But what I will submit would not be your idea. I will build my college project separately along with yours and it will go through you as the project needs to be approved by the guide before submission to the university. 

You will get a product for your business, and I will be able to get my college degree. If you like my work, maybe you can hire me full time with reasonable compensation.
