I have been tired of looking for a job switch for the past 3 months. I am looking for a Remote Product Manager role but got 0 interviews scheduled till date. Looks like the recession has a huge impact on the jobs right now. Any suggestions or approaches to crack this?

I have been trying to apply for new jobs but ain't getting much results. I was hoping if the GV community could help out finding problems in my resume. all of my jobs have been remote from the start, I want to try out in-office jobs and want to socialize with other people hence the switch.

So recently I interviewed in many companies including google, Microsoft, Amazon I have seen common pattern that HR not being transparent with candidates. They keep hanging candidates in between and not reply to text, email, messages, calls. Even if candidate is rejected why can’t they email or call to give feedback. Is this job really hard ?

Ps:- Google ppl was very transparent throughout process one of best experiences for me .

What is wrong with HRs/Recruiters

Applied to Adobe for MTS2 got a rejection mail saying we have rejected your profile for computer scientist 2. Never applying to Adobe again.

Applied to innovacer got a rejection mail from an self entitled HR with BBA degree from Amity. Your resume is not good enough.

Companies that I would never apply to again.

Have been continually updating my resume and applying over the past year. Having difficulty even getting a short list or get an exploratory call. 

Is there any red flags that might be causing it? Would appreciate any feedback.

Got an offer for 10lpa from an analytics company, on notice period at Infosys till mid March. Hoping for an offer within that timeframe. At any established product based company, target is 15-18 lpa.

Have one interview in the works and also the client I’m working for through Infosys has verbally told me they are planning to offer 15lpa. 

Would also appreciate any advice 🙂

Hi Grpeviners, I've given so many interviews. Qualified technical rounds for many but have been ghosted several times. Like the HR stops receiving my calls or they say at the end that sorry we want someone to join within 45 days. Sometimes they say, sorry we got some candidate from our organization and list is never ending. I feel very disheartened due to this ongoing scenario. Why is this happening to me, what should I improve in myself? Am I out of budget, notice period? Please help!

Interviewing them soon.

I'll probably reject them because budget will be a constraint, but nothing before speaking to them.
Their sourcing must be good since they found me earlier 💁‍♀️

P.S. I didn't know a part of me would be so stuck on random interview calls

Same as the title. Currently doing an internship and no offer in hand and haven't been able to get shortlisted anywhere. Can anybody tell me what can and should I improve? This causes me a lot of mental stress.

Not getting shortlisted, need resume review

Hi,

I'm looking for someone who can review my resume and help me in grooming it. I'm currently working in a service based company, have work ex of spring boot and an IOT Platform. 
I'm looking for a role at a PBC because I'm neither getting paid good nor learning anything and as they say you should atleast get one of those.
I have applied at a few places and asked for some referrals but no conversion (not even assessment) at all. 
If someone can help me with resume review it'll be of great help. I need to talk so I would prefer in person, phone/video call. Also, I might need 1-2 time follow up after applying the changes. I know it's a lot to ask but this is what I need. I can maybe buy you a coffee if you are in Pune. :)

Hello Fine Viners- it's been 2 months now that I am actively looking for a job change. Have faced instances where the HR calls me regarding the scheduling of the interview, but vo hota hi nahi hai! Even if the interview is scheduled, I don't get an update post that call. I have rejected 2 offers (there are solid reasons to do so) and have been rejected from 2 :(

LinkedIn and IIMjobs are on a constant battle on who will give me the most rejection emails or updates. 

Anyways, I am getting a bit worried lately and wanted to know from ya'll, IS HIRING EVEN HAPPENING!?
