Any HR in the house?
I have a question. I took a year gap from working and started freelancing on some projects. But now if I want to join a new organisation, so what all documents do I require of my freelancing while joining any new organisation? Ps: I won’t be having salary slips or transaction records of freelancing, as all the project transactions were done in cash. Can anyone help with this? Thanks

not the helpful ones
If you are good with skill and communication then many good startups will hire you. They don’t care your certification and payslips.
You can file ITR against your cash transactions and pay Income tax. Then It can be considered as proof of income. They will get an idea about your yearly income and will consider it as base to offer/negotiate.
Not an HR.
If you are able to crack interview, in most large organisations HR will like to have some basis for salary. Most likely your last drawn salary will be used as base to draft offer/ negotiate.
Not sure about start up.

You need salary slips or atleast bank statements for proof. No one will rely on your cash statement as companies can fix you in their requisite band for that role
Your last drawn salary slip should help. Plus be good at talking about your freelancing projects and revenue you made.
My cousin got into PWC after a year gap. They didn’t ask much about payslips.
Kisi CA firm se experience letter and fake salary slips banwa lo. Thats all the organisation care about.
