Surprised nobody talked about IFF(Internet freedom foundation)
These guys are responsible for us having net neutrality in India. They continue to legally fight for Freedom of Speech & expression so that you don’t have to. Definitely worth looking into their work. Check out their recent tweets.

Have donated a couple of times for this https://consciousplanet.org/en/isha-vidhya/donate. Most of them are first time school goers in their family . Good thing is they send you yearly report card of the child that you are sponsoring . Also they used to organise tours where you can visit these school and see the work being done. I recommend you visit if this gets organised. There is so much poverty in India and hearing some of their children stories will bring tears to you . Many of children cannot afford two meals a day . Also eligible for 80G deduction.
