 Real estate in dubai will be on your name,changes country to country. 
 In india we have cdsl to hold all your stocks and even if broker goes bankrupt it will be in your name,where as US stocks if broker goes bankrupt all your holdings are gone.

Suppose I was in some company X.
I left that ‘X’ company after working 3 month, I serve 15 days of NOTICE Period.
Now in FNF the company is asking me for NOTICE period recovery amount.

Notice period was of 2 month but I served 15 days.
Now company is asking me to Pay money for 45 days.
amount = ((base salary)/365)*45;
So I have paid them the amount.
But when earlier I got the salary of 3 months  it was exclusive of Taxes(TDS, etc).
But in FNF I have paid them full amount(actual salary + (taxes they used to cut like TDS).


So is it possible to claim back extra TDS that I have paid them in FNF?

Any expert CA here, I have one case to discuss. Please help

So I had an organisation as an SDE2 and left it within 4 days as I got a better offer. I did not resign through official channels because I hadn't got access to them yet but I left a proper email trail.

Now come tax filing season, I see that the previous org has shown a salary payment to me for two months according to my Form26. This is when I hadn't even updated my bank account with them so I did not receive any salary.

What should I do next? Currently tax filing is on hold and I'll be doing a late filing with a penalty.

I am joining new org with 17LPA, I just got to know that my tax slab will be 30%. I never had to think about it for last 2 years because i was with 3.75LPA since 2 years when my career began. Quicko and IT portal have different tax due amounts.

I have small amount from freelance (apart from salary), if adding under 44ADA they want balance sheet

I started with old regime (1.5L +10k +50k deduction) and now considering if new regime works better
IT portal says I owe more than 2 months of my salary as tax

Today I sat with a small biz owner to figure out why he wasn't earning enough from his business. Turns out he wasn't accounting for GST twice (you need to do that if you are buying and selling forward as a trader). 

Calculating GST amount itself on total invoice value is a nightmare when you account for other things like figuring out HSN-wise tax rates and logistics. And then splitting into two for state and central tax. 

And he's still educated but weak at math and accounts. I can only imagine how much the average business owner struggles with their own accounting. Heartbreaking stuff.
