Hello, I'm working as a senior data analyst with years of total work ex. I want to move into data science other more complex things. 

Most data science and machine learning courses I come across online seem very shallow to me. 

The post graduate diploma or certificate programmes from good institute cost more than 2 lacs.

I recently came across Applied Statistics course from IGNOU. This course deals with statistics but does not have programming component in it. 

Can anyone guide me on how to move into data science and will this Applied Statistics course help me?

Currently I use SQL, Python and Tableau.

However, I struggle with my mental health in this role, especially because I am an introvert who deals with ADHD. I'm currently pursuing my B.TECH in bioinformatics  ( 2nd yr) and I want to ustilize my time of vacations to upskill myself in the area which I find intersiting. After talking to some data analyst on linkden (some of them pivoted to this role from non-tech background, rest had done their b.tech or masters in statistics and then pivoted to D.A). Thus,I thought to give it a try by doing some course. I wanted general opnions about the courses provided by these institutions, is Excelr Thane's data analytcis course worth it? Would be open to all kind of opinions.

Currently in my 7th semester of engineering ( information technology). I'm really interested in starting a career in data science and could use some advice.I have a basic understanding of Python and pandas, some machine learning concepts, and we've covered basic SQL in our academic syllabus. With changing technologies in IT after a long introspection, I am thinking to go to Data Science/Analysis field. Currently I am working on a project where we work on analysing data using SQL in client databases for anomalies or current flow that can be improved.

I don't have any formal learning for data analysis field, but from what I learnt I need to learn python, statistics and probability, power BI etc for moving into data analysis field. After working for a while as a data analyst I can then move to learn to be a data scientist.
