As QA Engineer/SDET what's your current salary with YOE?

Post CTC, YOE, Role (mine is 45 LPA, 4 YOE, PM)

Hi Folks, I have 9 Yrs experience as QA .I m currently working as Team lead and getting 20LPA. My current skill set : Functional, Salesforce QA with good amount of exposure to Automation (Selenium) .Is my current package good as per current market standards. If not what’s the ideal package and which orgs are offering in Hyderabad ?

Storytime - I have around 4 years of experience in QA field where i do manual testing. So i changed my field to frontend dev in pursuit of good salary and thought that software developer will have more roles. My previous company invested little bit in me but did not give any major projects. Then they fired me on basis of lack of logical skills. So i started looking for QA roles and dev role. Also i get to know that sdet roles are also a thing where people can earn as much as sde. Now the problem starts, i was laid off and given 1 month salary. So i found one job which is remote and it is of QA job . Until this point i made my mind that i will move on sdet path . Then my friend has referred me to one company before my layoff. So they scheduled one tech interview for frontend dev and i cleared it. I cleared it because my friend give me problem😅. Also there is no hr round and they also released offer. Now the problem is i have joined QA role. i am little bit scared that what if i joined sde role and same thing again happens to me. Little company fires me for not completing my task on time. Then i will lose my current job too and i have to start from zero. Compensation details - QA role - 9 LPA Sde role - 10 LPA Both are remote. Sde role can be on-site. In my mind , mostly i will reject sde role due to fear. Want to know opinions. Thank you

Is there a threshold after certain experience ? Is it at par with other IT roles ? Can someone with higher experience in IT reveal it ?

I am evaluating a job switch some time and wanted to know the ideal range that is going into the testing community? I4 years of SDET working at 25-30lpa as well as 5-6 years of QAs working at 15-20lpa bracket. Just needed some guidance from the experts out here from QA/ SDET community.

I m having 10+ YoE in QA industry. Extremely good in test automation, framework creation, building roadmaps, gatekeeping quality. I also build websites as a part timer. I am planning to quit Amazon due to the hefty hike I received. M wondering if there are any product or service based companies within Chennai which pays such amount. I know blore has many companies but just wanna check if Chennai pays.

I want to switch but want a company which can provide me higher number of income for SDET or similar role, currently I am in 10-15 years of experience bracket so looking out the companies which provide such high package to SDET as well (Why Devs should have all fun?).
