Having said that, the wrestling, badminton, archery, weightlifting and boxing contingents were disappointing. All of them did poorly. And this needs a serious analysis as to why the players fell well short of the mark. Criticism is in order as well. We criticise our cricketers. There is no reason why those who seek as much attention space from us as we bestow upon cricketers, should be given a long rope when we don't do so for their cricketing colleagues.
