Bank Accounts
How many bank accounts you have and why?
Any bank accounts just for FD with high interest rates?
What’s your take on this?
Noob here. Thanks in advance.

I’ve 2 accs. Two different banks.
I use Kotak acc for purely salary and fds. Majority of my funds are on this one
I use SBI acc for all the internet and upi transactions, I keep like some 30k a month in this acc.
Also I never want to expose acc with lots of balance to internet. So txn usually happens between Kotak to SBI to the world

lol! same here, I use sbi for recurring investment payments

3 actively used icici bank for salary and classic bank experience. equtas bank (niyoX app) for intnl txn and epf, tax investment etc. Paytm Payments bank for UPI and daily small expenses txn.

I have 3.
1 in HDFC, salary accoint and credit card.
1 in Axis. Just a primary non salary account. I have routed all investments via this
1 in federal bank via Fi which I do not use anymore.

IndusInd & Axis for FD's and RD's (high-interest rates & safe banks)
Jupiter (Federal Bank) for Salary - Standing Instructions to fund the above accounts, and leftover for credit-card payments.

SBI for FDs , Citi Bank (now under Axis) for salary account and Indian Overseas Bank for convenience because my sister works there

Just tried Jupiter, the app experience is nice. They provide Federal Bank account but allow easy investment payments and good interest rates.

IndusInd Bank gives highest interest in FD.

HDFC Bank and union Bank.
