As a fresher entering corporate life, what advices would you like to give

A few of my peers in my team talk tech jargons throughout the day in the workplace and do no work at all. They are the ones that are eventually promoted and I feel left out despite doing so much smart work and hard work both. Teach me some ways to defeat these imposters and grow in my career.

Some people no matter how many chance and advice, I give them keep on calling or keep on delaying the delivery fed up with those people

1. SET Clear Goals: Understand what you want from your career and set clear, achievable goals. This could be a specific role you want to attain, a skill you want to learn, or a project you want to lead. 2. Continuous Learning: Always be open to learning new skills and improving existing ones. This could be through formal education, online courses, workshops, or self-study. 3. Networking: Build strong relationships with colleagues, managers, and other professionals in your industry. They can provide valuable advice, opportunities, and support. 4. Seek Feedback: Regularly ask for feedback on your performance. This can help you identify areas for improvement and demonstrate your commitment to personal growth. 5. Take Initiative: Show your willingness to take on new responsibilities and challenges. This can demonstrate your commitment and potential to the company. 6. Positive Attitude: Maintain a positive and professional attitude. This can help you navigate challenges and make a good impression on others 7. Work-Lif Balance: While it's important to be dedicated and hardworking, it's also crucial to maintain a healthy work-life balance. This can help prevent burnout and keep you motivated. 8. Mentorship: If possible, find a mentor within your company who can provide guidance and support as you navigate your career path. Remember, career progression often takes time and patience, so don't be discouraged if you don't see immediate results. Keep working towards your goals and stay open to new opportunities.

How can I go about securing a promotion at work before the usual time frame, transitioning from one level to a higher position? If you've experienced such a progression, I'd love to hear about the strategies and actions you took that led to your success.

Hey everyone, heading into my first internship this summer, no other work experience and want to hear from full time employees on the lesser known things that secure the return offer. By this I mean things other than being able to adapt to work, ask questions, not making same mistake over and over - basically the things that aren't talked about but from your perspective really makes huge a difference in your opinion on the intern. I will go first, it doesn't matter if you really work hard on a project, in the end only result matter, no matter how much efforts you made for it

Is it rewarding to be well behaved, punctual, polite and hardworking or does it have no weightage at all? If it doesn’t, what is it that help one progress and go up the career ladder?

I desperately disappointed hunting jobs from last one year although I have one year experience in java receiving rejected mails ! Any one suggest to make best resume which passes ATS test !
