When Grapevine says 1% of India's Top professionals, does that mean I should earn 53LPA 🥹
I definitely should earn 53LPA!

Recently I came across a report in ToI that said earning 80 K per month puts you at top 4% in India. Assuming that the stats is true, do you feel contended with what you earn?
Just imagine, even after being in top 4% of the country … we have to think thrice before buying a house or a car!
Its because the wealth is very unequally divided in this country. So a very small % of individuals have very large piece of that 4% pie. (and also thousands of rich don’t file ITR)
That’s why even after being in top 4%, it doesn’t make any significant difference.
Sadly with greater income, some lifestyle upgrades take place which sometimes put us into lower percentile 😕
Correction. It's actually 67 K per month or 8 lacs per annum earning puts you at top 4%.
Bhai population dekho India ki, 4% is still a huge number
Bro the local Momo-guy in Bengaluru makes ₹1L/m in profits tax free and then there are so many such momo/golgappa/paratha/idli places. 😆

I'd say ignore the negative comments. People can't be happy themselves, won't let others be happy either.
I definitely should earn 53LPA!
I want to understand if you are also satisfied with your compensation?

The last I saw, to be in top 1% individual in terms of wealth, you needed to have assets worth $77k. This is from news article of 2020. Sharing link here - https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/business/india-business/this-is-what-it-take...
Any news on who is getting it, what's like an average payout for eligible employees? As per the news article, approx 19000 employees are getting it. Anyone has insider info?
