What is the best time in year to switch company?

I am thinking to put papers I am currently having 6.5 years of experience and recently I got a offer in a product based company but this is very small US based firm which is having office only in hyderabad in india.

My peers are saying If I put papers now and after notice period I will be released in November and it is a dry season for hiring. Any suggestions which is best month to switch because I want to get offer in MNC since I am having a bad experience with small firms they loaded me with work . I am in a complete dilemma.

Any suggestions will be helpful?

I want to know the right time to switch?
How much time should someone with 5-7 yrs of experience in product / business strategy spend in one company (ideally)?

Context: 
I am in a product strategy role where I am working with the founders and leadership team.
I have done engineering and MBA from tier 1 colleges.
I have 2 yrs of pre MBA and 4.2 yrs of post MBA experience. My Annual compensation is the range of 35-40 lpa.
Post MBA, I have done a startup for 1.5 yrs, worked in 2 unicorns for 1 yr each.
In a serious B funded startup right now with 9 months of experience.

Hey folks,

Today was the date of Onboarding for my new job. For the past few weeks, I have given interviews and negotiated with two companies. The later company only matched the first offer so I naturally went with the first one.

Now, on the date of Onboarding, they called me and increased the offer which is making the same interesting.

I have not been given any company's assets on my day 1 today. Can I still make the switch now ? Also need your advice on whether I should switch ?

What is the best time to switch?

I work with a south eastern gaint. Joined them just after college with around 19LPA for first year.. but they only gave 10% increment. Should I even try to switch given the market conditions? Its been exactly one year now. 

Work wise I think its okay. Not much work load and everybody is chill.

I've got two offers, from companies X and Y. Company X wants me to start on Monday. Company Y still has BGV pending and wants me to start in the second week of August. I would prefer to work for company Y. I intend on signing both letters.

Can I start working at company X and then move onto company Y when they start? Will company Y's BGV show them that I'm already working for another company? I really don't want to be in a position where I'm waiting for company Y after having let go of the offer from company X, but at the same time I really want to work for company Y. I piam a bit worried about the BGV as it has caused issues in the past (worked abroad prior to this and also the drug test puts me in an iffy spot).

Hello all, what are your takes on switching Companies every 4-6 years (or other frequencies) v/s staying in one company for longer duration like 10-20 years? 

Note: While staying at the same company, one should stay relevant and try to evolve rapidly as well. Taking on new challenges, moving to different teams/verticals will be a part of it. It won't be like staying in just one role, doing the same work every day, expecting a hike/promotion someday.

While switching, money would definitely get double or tripled, but considering an ideal/hypothetical situation where someone is making 'good enough salary' from the beginning of their career itself, and then the fact that the more we wait, the compensation would compound down the lane.

1.3 to years into TCS
Since 7 months working in Infosys

But here I didn't like the work culture and project and micromanagement.

Hi folks , for sometime now , I have not been very happy with my current role. I was planning to start looking for opportunities this year but seeing the layoff trends , I am skeptical, my company currently is stable and no risks of layoff as such, just that there is not much learning and growth. Please suggest if this is a good time to look out for new opportunities or stay put.

Want to leave becz the leadership has either left or is gonna leave coz of restructuring and it's become shitshow now. 
Having second thought for changing seeing the layoff scenario, but same can be the case at same company as well.
