Best way to negotiate notice period
Hello folks
I got an offer from a product based startup and they want me to join immediately up to 2 weeks.
Currently I'm in a service based company with a 2 month notice period.
Experienced folks please give me an idea on how to negotiate it down to two weeks.
The last idea that i can think of is to use a fake medical emergency at home.

No, i spun a story of going to the US for studies but they didn't agree. So i communicated to the joining company, honestly that I can't join early and fortunately they waited.
I had valid medical documents with me and i am asking early release and relieve based on the criticality

Ask the other company to pay for notice period, if possible.
Pay on your own.
White lies.
If none of the above work, beg them to let you go.
If you don’t want to beg, submit your assets and abscond :P
