Best way to relocate to Dubai/AD

Hi folks,

I want to move over to Dubai/AD area for a couple of years to build a decent corpus

I am 30 years old, have been working in tech for 8 years, current Indian salary 50 L

Feel like moving to Dubai for its tax policies. My idea is to save some 5 cr and return

Anyone moved to these areas recently can share some pointers?

Thinking of asking 100 k usd base salary plus house as benefit when I interview, is this something I can get?

Current designation: Tech lead at a medium size bank

I had an offer of 20k AED monthly at 4 YOE, so your salary expectations are fine. My understanding is that house is usually provided to lower salaried folks. In any case, at that salary, house expenses won't be too high.

I was reached out by an agency recruiter, so can't really say what works best. I'm trying my best to follow recruiting agencies and potential openings on LinkedIn and applying actively. I got only 1 interview so far which was unsuccessful.

Be in touch with top companies there - g42, al ghurair, Tamara, chalhoub, Careem's and also look out for recruitment firms.

As a lawyer, I would just say - be careful, UAE does not have the same lax labour regulations that India does, it is quite strict with the validity of non competes and penalties for absconding

There's also an underlay of Sharia

Anyway, I'm working with one of the biggest law firms there and by the time you move, I'd have a more active role so hit me up in case you need help 😂😂
