Big 4 IB wars. What should I do?

Hi guys. I am working in a front end IB role with KPMG. There is a lot of movement going on here among BIG4s in terms of people poaching. One of the other Big 4 is poaching our 10-15 partners and ~130 professionals. My team partner has communicated to us that he has made his decision to move. Now he is having a one-on-one conversation with all of us regarding the terms and conditions. My questions to all of you is: 1. What options do I have? 2. What monetary benefits can I expect and how much should I ask for? 3. If I say no to moving, can KPMG ask me to leave the job since my team has left? Please advise.

Your partner will speak to you, so will other seniors from KPMG. Hear everyone out, you’ll get clarity on what works for you. If you move, expect at least a 20-30% hike + signing bonus. And no, KPMG won’t ask you to leave. They simply cannot - you joined the firm, not a team. Even if the entire team leaves and you’re left alone, they can’t ask you to leave. All things said and done, no harm in moving to Deloitte. It’s a good place to be.

I have 3 years of experience in CyberSecurity - Consulting Considering the recent layoffs from giant companies, I am considering switching within Big4 firm will be the safest option. Big4 - Work related issue.

Hey everyone, I'm new to this app. Figuring out how it works. Anyway, I have recently resigned from one of the big4 firms (or let's say I was forced to resign for some reasons). I feel traumatized after my experience and also someone who is unable to talk about her emotions easily, I do not feel good and I'm unable to talk about it. I feel helpless and scared to go back to the corporate world. Does anyone feel the same here? How did you manage to heal from a work related trauma?
