Can you buy anything today with bitcoin? Outside of web only transactions BTC will continue to be a digital currency that fluctuates with old world government rulings on its legitimacy

There are literally ATMs in the UAE and other countries from which you can exchange BTC for fiat. The world is going digital. Tech laggards would have said the same thing about UPI or Pix in Brazil, and now they dominate payments. Telegram has created an excellent wallet that works very similar to our beloved Paytm wallet. And this nonsense of people not parking money in bitcoin: literally everyday there are $500m of incremental inflows in BTC ETFs since their launch. People wanted to get exposure to BTC, but didn't trust decentralised wallets especially after 2022 fiasco. Now that reputed names like Blackrock, Fidelity are offering ETFs, people are parking money in them. Quite a few of my friends want this in India, where they can do an SIP structure.
True . My company buys millions of dollars worth of stuff with BTC and ETH every year.

Bitcoin is hedge against corrupt system. As more and more currency lose their buying power, bitcoin will gain more power. US dollar will also gain more users but US itself is devaluing it's currency by printing more.
Bitcoin is not a currency for current use. Bitcoin is the currency for the future use. Think of 15-20years from now.
People called yahoo as a crud table of links but the point was programming made to the yahoo to new scale. Think what happens if value has programmability.
Web3. 0 stack is still confusing for masses but it is the beautiful tech, just keep playing and over the years we will have many new uses cases. You can end digital slavery too so keep an eye on this
