Calling all EPL football fans

The new season is here at long last. Couldn’t be more excited! We haven’t had football related discussions here, but I’m wishfully hoping we’ll have a steady few going forward.

What are your predictions for this year?

  • Top four standings
  • Golden boot
  • What are you most exited about this time around?

My eyes are glued onto the Caicedo situation at the moment.

My predictions:

Arsenal (better than last year in key areas) City (lost gundo and mahrez who won key games) Liverpool (klopp somehow makes it work) Chelsea (I’m a fan, hence, otherwise no reason) Man utd (sancho and antony haven’t lit up, hopes ride on rashford alone)

Golden boot - Haaland

Top four would be -

  1. Man City - they got the strongest squad , they have Pep and they won 5 of the last 6 so yeah.

  2. Arsenal- they would be second they have a good squad but they are playing UCL this season too so I expect a good showing but they will be way behind City.

3 Liverpool - Liverpool will perform better than expected , they might be second . Nunez can step up this season and their midfield is stronger if they miss out on caicedo they will definitely go for Lavia. If the the star players stay fit they can pose a threat to Arsenal.

4- Man Utd - they sold off some dead weights like Fred and Maguire. They can challenge for UCL but it would be a tough fight they would be challenged by Chelsea and Newcastle.

Dark Horse - Aston Villa. Unia Emery is a great manager and they performed really well in the second half hopefully they can give the Big Six a run for there money.

I want to see how Tottenham performs without Kane , whom do they buy to replace him . I hope they are not looking at Richarlison as his replacement because that guy had an abysmal first season.

Agreed. I feel even-though United and Arsenal don’t have the squad depth to go long in multiple competitions, they can damn make city work for the epl title. City have lost clutch players in Mahrez and Gundogan.

Tottenham fan here since more than a decade. We have been performing really well in our friendlies and have been exciting to watch for once. I honestly think a top 6 finish is a possibility.

I am an Arsenal fan. I can see liverpool having a good season. The top 4 race will be between arsenal, pool city and probably newcastle. All teams look great. This season might be unpredictable

Yes, arsenal and newcastle were mighty impressive last season. They’ve reinforced key areas. Being a chelsea fan, I feel this is a very tough season to enter and compete for top 6 even, right after a rebuild. I was very excited to see Nkunku ball, but that injury was a shocker. Excited to see new additions like Jackson and the likes to get going.

The Premier League is fun this season!

The top half of the table is super competitive. Still would give Manchester City the edge. what are your thoughts? Anyone wants to revise their top 4 predictions? I feel sorry for the Chelsea fans out here :p
