Can any hiring committee person give some insights
I want to know on what basis are you guys shorting your candidates for college summer interns, because I see the most random person getting selected and leaving out the good ones Also it's a no hope game for me, mine cgpa is less than 7
Cgpa is the easiest way for any college team to shortlist. Understand that any team probably has a mandate of 1-2 per campus. Hence for consistency sake cgpa is the easiest parameter.
Also my friends keep taking about this ATS thing that automates the CV shorting process, do all companies use these types of softwares?
A lot of companies do. The mot basic thing is to ensure your resume is ATS compliant
Exactly this is ground reality in oncampus scenario which most of us are facing, literally the one with least skills is getting selected & those who have good skills & amazing projects are rejected !!🤷
It's over
