Career Advice Needed!! Should I continue Product or move to Program Management ?!!

I am a 3rd year student from tier -3 private college, pursuing btech is it possible to get PM roles just after under graduation, have seen people from tier -1/2 pursuing vague branches like coal mineral sort of engineering and still be able to crack roles as a PM at tech companies . Also one should aim for a role like this after undergrad or just it demands more exp? Also any roadmap you would recommend

What is the future scope of the PM job role...will it still be relevant after 10 years, Is going to IIMs spending close to 25 lakhs in this economy to get into a PM job role justified?? Context: I know many people will say you don't need IIM to break into PM, But considering I'm a 25 Male, from tier 3 college...currently working as a product designer with 8 lpa...so I think the only way to reach 25-30 lpa in hand by 28 is by joining IIMs

I'm in serious trouble. I was an sde for 3+ years. Didn't like it, thought it's not meant for me and wanted a different job. Came across Product management, which piqued my interest. Somehow found a contract job at a startup and did it for a year. While it's not a traditional PM, it was more of a project manager. The contract ended, now I'm unemployed. Applied for jobs, no luck. Now I'm questioning my career choices, should I stick with PM or should I go back to being a techie. I definitely don't want to go back to coding, but I'm thinking of doing something like IAM/okta/cyberark stuff. Experienced folks, please help. I literally don't know where am I headed in life

I'm a senior consultant(mix of business analyst and consultant) at a mid size organization with 3 YOE, 16 LPA from tier 1 college. From my understanding I'm entering a stage where i can still pivot to product management, as later on it will be pretty hard! So my question to you all is that is it worth it to change career or should i climb ladder in consultancy. I don't really have any passion, my main focus points are money and job security. What do you think i should do?, what pays more?, which field has more future opportunities? Please advice. Ciao

I want to make a career switch into a role that would help me grow professionally and financially. I have experience as a category manager in an edtech and currently work as a Growth Manager in a startup. What roles can i make switch into? Am i underpaid as of now? One of the roles I'm considering is a Product Manager. YoE - 4 CTC - 13LPA Graduated in CS but never took a tech role due to some circumstances Is pursuing an MBA a good choice these days considering the rise of AI?

Profile: - Engineering degree from a Tier 1 college - ~3 years of experience in product and analytics in adtech firm - Currently serving as a lead product analyst, earning around 15 LPA. Worked tirelessly to switch roles to a Product Manager position, but was denied by management and received an underwhelming appraisal. As a result, I feel that I'm not earning my true potential and feel devalued by my firm. I am considering a switch, I would appreciate guidance on whether it's a suitable time to make a change, or if I should wait until the job market recovers.
