No campus placement
Year 1 - 2.75 lpa service based mnc Associate Software Engineer Year 2- 3.75 lpa salary normalisation and role changed to PMO Year 2.5- 5.5 lpa joined another service based company Year 3 - 6 lpa joined startup as Edtech program manager Year 4- 8 lpa with hike same role Year 6- 11 lpa promotion senior program manager Year 7- 16lpa joined another start up as tech program manager/scrum master Year 7.5- put down paper got retained didn’t match salary but promotion and hike 22lpa role changed to Product manager Year 8- 30lpa product manager another start up
From Associate Software engineer to PMO to Program manager/Scrum Master to Product Manager
Starting salary 2016- 2.75lpa Current salary 2024- 30lpa ( have two offers might get better offer than this)
Note- number is only fixed component of salary
Advice- Take risk and it doesn’t matter what role you are in whether you are a developer , QA, sales person, marketing or CS just be good in whatever role you do, work hard and show your work be visible and be very very good at communication!
