Chingari Layoffs after Cofounder Quits
BTW what's the demography of people who use these apps? Asking coz I don't use insta or short content apps😅
According to its LinkedIn page, Chingari has around 240 employees, which means it has laid off around 48 employees.Â

Lol I can never understand how apps like Chingari and Moj even exist in the Indian Market. It's just "cheap ass shaking for dehatis" in a nutshell app. What will you even monetize.
Chingari also has a native cryptocurrency token, GARI. The app enables short-form video creators to monetise their content on the blockchain.
How many of the creators actually have earned hard cold cash through this?

Offlate it has basically become a short adult video content app. That's the level the founders have come down to. All hail the next Facebook of India :)
