Classic Delhi
This is honestly so sad. I'm 21 and have seen all this stuff happen first hand when I was in school especially amongst guys. Delhi has become a hellhole, especially for children. Delhi was always the trendsetter when it came to hurling abuses but it has gone too far in the past 10-15 years. Memories of fights outside my school(decent private school) are still very fresh, people used to pick up whatever they could lay their hands on. If you were a guy who was super slim and/or on the shorter side you were most definitely going to be picked on and if you retaliated, good luck. You mess with the wrong person, there would be cars with goons and hockey sticks outside waiting for you at 2:15 sharp. A lot of times they didn't turn violent but events such as these definitely have an impact, you never forget such an interaction. Has the situation gotten worse everywhere or is this exclusive to Delhi?

Sad state of affairs in Delhi slums
If this is still the situation in our capital, what else can we expect from other cities? Very sad to see. Great reporting by samdish, he's also covered other states like Gujarat, Chattisgarh, MP etc. Highly recommend everyone to watch for a reality check on "Bharat".
I visited Daya Basti to document the miserable living conditions of a slum surrounded by Railway tracks. What I saw wasn’t less than a shock...
