Companies with remote work and decent WLB

I have been doing WFH for the last 3 years from my hometown. Before that i was in Bangalore(YOE:5). Now i am kind of bored, doing the same activity daily, visiting the same places on weekends. Thinking of relocating for short-term(1-2 months) somewhere, budget 20-25k monthly, not so lonely place. Suggest some places, internet is a top priority. If i liked the place, I can extend my stay.

Left my job as business analyst due to family emergency last month, 5YOE, Offered 19LPA but job was WFO, so had to let it go. Can someone please guide me to find remote job, Thanks in advance. 🥺

Folks, This is my first post. I wanted your input on switching my completely in-office job (mandatory 5 days in office with zero scope for WFH unless for emergencies). I’m looking for a remote-first company and willing to switch for 35-40% hike from my current CTC. I’m holding another job offer currently (30%hike) - during the initial screening they offered me Hybrid but after interviews they stated it’s mandatory WFO. Can anyone advise how the markets are looking and what expectations I should hold on to while on the job hunt? Any referrals in a remote-first organisation would be much appreciated. I am not part of the Bangalore/Hyderabad group and due to personal reasons can't move there. Due to this a lot of opportunities get lost as companies don't entertain applications. Is there a way to convince the hiring manager against this?

I am joining a new company which is remote first. Does it makes sense to be in banglore? Given that if i move to my home town, I will save 95% of my income. I am confused because I also like banglore and dont like the idea of living with my parents. But if i stay at home for 2 3 years, I would be able to buy a property in banglore when i move back in future.

I am a middle class guy working as a senior engineer in one of the product companies. I belong from the north-east, and I am the only child in my family. Since covid, I was working in a wfh setup. Recently, my company has ended work from home for everyone, and I am supposed to move to Bangalore very soon or quit. I am an active user on all social media groups on Reddit, Fb, etc. For the past couple of months after seeing so much of negative news about Bangalore, Especially the high population, skyrocketing rents, the auto unions, corruption, cut-throat competition, discriminative news, traffic issues, etc. It makes me nervous to be honest. My wfh here was pretty chill, and I had a very limited social circle here, but was satisfied since I could spend most time with my mom and dad. Im very afraid now about what should I do next, shall I quit the job and search for wfh, or shall I make my move. I don’t have any acquaintances there, no friends, no idea about what I’ll be doing next, how to start house hunting, or job hunting. At this point I am miserable and overwhelmed to think about all of this. Anyone who has gone through all of these, If you can share your 2cents, experiences or thoughts, about how you dealt this phase. It will be really helpful for me at this point in my journey.
