Complete WFH/Remote Work Scenario in India

I have been doing WFH for the last 3 years from my hometown. Before that i was in Bangalore(YOE:5). Now i am kind of bored, doing the same activity daily, visiting the same places on weekends. Thinking of relocating for short-term(1-2 months) somewhere, budget 20-25k monthly, not so lonely place. Suggest some places, internet is a top priority. If i liked the place, I can extend my stay.

Folks, This is my first post. I wanted your input on switching my completely in-office job (mandatory 5 days in office with zero scope for WFH unless for emergencies). I’m looking for a remote-first company and willing to switch for 35-40% hike from my current CTC. I’m holding another job offer currently (30%hike) - during the initial screening they offered me Hybrid but after interviews they stated it’s mandatory WFO. Can anyone advise how the markets are looking and what expectations I should hold on to while on the job hunt? Any referrals in a remote-first organisation would be much appreciated. I am a middle class guy working as a senior engineer in one of the product companies. I belong from the north-east, and I am the only child in my family. Since covid, I was working in a wfh setup. Recently, my company has ended work from home for everyone, and I am supposed to move to Bangalore very soon or quit. I am an active user on all social media groups on Reddit, Fb, etc. For the past couple of months after seeing so much of negative news about Bangalore, Especially the high population, skyrocketing rents, the auto unions, corruption, cut-throat competition, discriminative news, traffic issues, etc. It makes me nervous to be honest. My wfh here was pretty chill, and I had a very limited social circle here, but was satisfied since I could spend most time with my mom and dad. Im very afraid now about what should I do next, shall I quit the job and search for wfh, or shall I make my move. I don’t have any acquaintances there, no friends, no idea about what I’ll be doing next, how to start house hunting, or job hunting. At this point I am miserable and overwhelmed to think about all of this. Anyone who has gone through all of these, If you can share your 2cents, experiences or thoughts, about how you dealt this phase. It will be really helpful for me at this point in my journey. Are there very less roles in finance which offer WFH/Hybrid options or am I not searching in the right place? Big 4s were offering WFH but not sure till how long will they continue.

I'm doing growth for a company and want to switch to an international role which allows international remote working. Is anyone here in such an arrangement? I would like to make a career path such that I can travel around while working. Open to switching to relatable careers too.

So I'm a trainee rn and have been thinking of making a switch (later, not immediately). I'm really drawn to the prospects remote jobs offer. But there's gotta be some fine print. I mean it can't be the exactly the rosy picture techbros paint all the time. So I want to know the stuff nobody really talks about in detail. Like how are you taxed : are there bands, etc. How is the work life balance like? Does working remotely full-time with people from all around the world feel the same as working in a multicultural office? Is it sustainable over a long period of time? All of your opinions are appreciated :)
