Corporate etiquettes
Hi all, I'm (kind of) fresher into the corporate workforce, ~2yrs of work exp. What are some corporate etiquettes that a person like me should learn and/or be aware of?? It could anything but not limited to... from way of saying things to the things to be said to how to behave or how to work around/handle the power dynamics.
> Don't work outside office hours
> Always learn to say NO
> Be casual with Managers all the time. (Don't put bucket to them during appraisal)
> Company is not your family. Don't get too attached or emotional towards it
> Don't call anyone Sir/Madam. Always call them by their First name
> Start building network with your team lead, managers, HR and even recruiters. Always comes in handy when switching or searching job
> If you are working hard just do it instead of showcasing it to others.
