Corporate lawyers
Corporate law as a profession is criminally underrated. People working there get upward of 50 lpa with > 4 yoe and in cold hard cash no ESOPs RSU bullshit. People with high yoe become irreplaceable and valuable and are not replaceable unlike Tech. Firing rarely happens and the path to become a partner is quite possible (they earn more than 1.5 cr per year) after 10 yoe. Tech is a joke tbh 🤡

yea. got to know this quite later. 5 yr law degrees are preferred much more. 3yr law degrees have no value.
Not necessarily true that 3 yoe have no value.

People dint go to tech for the money alone. They went for the coveted onsite and possible permanent residency .
Onsite may not be attractive today as before, but decade or two back it was totally worth it. Amy might not know this but till 2000, people got green cards in less than 5 years. Ask any one who went even in late 90's, none visited for h1b renewal. They got their green cards before that. There are stories that many people who went thru infy/Wipro got their green cards. Those people didn't have any MS or T1 college degree.
Today corporate law might pay well, was that the scenarios a decade or 2 back?.
These high paying professions keep changing every decade. It's impossible to predict. If you don't believe, check around it may sound unbelievable, but 2 decades before oncology was not the most preferred masters degree for doctors. Times change, some make money, some don't. It's just a matter of luck.anyoje who says th planned it , are lying.

I wish I took law. Too late for regrets.
