Current scenario on OA

Now it has become clearly evident that there are telegram groups for off campus placements. Almost all students cheat when it comes to OAs. Also asking easy level problems in interview many times help the cheaters get selected on any interview. The real question is what are recruiters doing? Do they not care much about these? Now in my college the culture has become such like everyone knows if they don't cheat they won't be selected in OA. It is disheartening to see that this thing is not always checked during interview and many underserving people seep in the company because of poor interview process( they ask leetcode hard/codeforces 1600 level questions in OA and will ask to reverse a linked list in interview). Is this system ever going to change?
