Delhi Metro to Start Services Early on Independence Day

- Delhi Metro will begin operations at 4 am on all lines from terminal stations on Independence Day to facilitate public attendance at the ceremony. - Trains will run every 15 minutes until 6 am, after which the regular schedule will resume for the rest of the day. - Individuals with a bonafide invitation card from the Ministry of Defence can enter and travel by showing a valid government-issued photo ID at stations. - This special entry arrangement is valid for exits only at Lal Quila, Jama Masjid, and Chandni Chowk metro stations, and the same cards can be used for return journeys from these stations. - Regular announcements will be made inside trains to inform passengers about these arrangements, with travel costs reimbursed to DMRC by the Ministry of Defence.
