Does Blockchain have any future?

I recently got laid off. I have over 1 YOE. Now, I am planning to start exploring Blockchain field. Would I get the job in this field? What is the future of Blockchain?

Heard Pillow is winding down operations. Their website says its because of regulatory troubles; I'd like to know what troubles - purely from an academic perspective. If anyone has any behind the scene knowledge or know anyone who does?

There are multiple companies worldwide leading the forefront of AI, with inovative strides in GPTs, Multi Agent models, GANs etc. However, most Indian AI startups are not working on the cutting edge. Rather, most of them are building wrappers around GPT-4 for a consumer experience. With the lack of any meaningful innovation within this space, is it unreasonable for Indian founders to raise on similar multiples as our counterparts in the west? Because honestly? I can see a lot of "crypto-nerd" founders shilling the new oil called "AI" after their previous NFT/crypto/ICO-crap didn't float.

I have recently got an opportunity to explore blockchain analytics in crypto space. I am confused if this will help me in my career path going forward I have around 6 years of experience in analytics. I can comfortably go to a diff company which pays more, but I if go into blockchain analytics should I expect exponential growth in next 5 years ? Would love to understand from someone who is well aware of this space

Have seen atleast a couple of trends die out, which were introduced to us as "future" i.e blockhain / crypto - we aren't seeing people talk about it as much they did in 2021-2022. Remote work - they said it will be future. Now many offices firing if employees not reporting to office Is generative AI going to be next on the list? Or which other trend do you think belongs to this list

I think this whole Hungama around generative AI will go the crypto way. Apart for some nifty hacks whole thing doesn’t have legs.

I might probably regret this especially since I’ve seen a lot of backlash on this platform for crypto. But honestly, this has been a rewarding stint. And note that I didn’t say “crypto” as I don’t always advice people to invest in crypto. AMA!

Is there any significant real world use case of Blockchain? Apart from being a investment instrument that randomly goes up and down. I think it may have some very very niche use cases, but not like what crypto marketing kids keep shouting. Trying to shove it everywhere. It's been so long but still we haven't seen any real public product built with it, that does some real problem. Apart from all the scams. I stil think it is a solution searching for a problem. P.S.- I have written smart contract and other tech for NFT companies that made a ton of money during last bull run, so I know the ecosystem a bit.

I am thinking of taking blockchain technology as my career option. I wanted to know if it is a good decision. I am 26 year old and if blockchain is not good than what will be the correct one.

I just curious for web3 , should I invest my time in learning web3?
