Does hiding previous experience of 3-6 months create any trouble in the new company?

I'm having around 3 years of experience and i resigned from my previous company ( let's call it A) on feb. I've been interviewing with a few companies and i got a job in a shitty company (let's call it B) and they want me to join next week, the pay is good but the workload is 3x that of company A and it's an early stage service based company. I'm almost positive that I'll land another good offer from a company that I'm interviewing for. So do i need to mention that i have joined company B to this new company? In 2022, I worked in company A for less than 2 weeks and then left to join my current company B. I don't want to show that less than 2 weeks on my resume for future opportunities because I was still in onboarding process, no codebase access and no project was allocated . I realized joining company A was a mistake. Reason why I left was at the start of interview process I confirmed that I will get to work on React and they confirmed. But when I joined company A, I got to know they have 0 active React projects and all are in Aurelia (not even Vue/Angular). It was the 1st time I heard about Aurelia framework and decided to resign as I was already getting other better offers. I had discussion with Company A HR and manager and explained them reason of my resignation, they accepted and at the end of month I got salary of those 7 days in my bank. Is it ok if I don't mention these 7 days in my resume because I did nothing there and was still going through onboarding? I don't want to show it on my resume because it might indicate to my future employer that I am unreliable and can leave quickly after joining but actually it was not my mistake. They lied and I was lucky to have other offer. I fear future employers might not even shortlist my resume due to those 7 days. Suggestions?

Background, I got laid off from an organisation and by god's grace I had a offer, which was not that good 10% decrement in salary, but me being a scared person joined the company. Now 1 month after I realised I can do much better and market seems to open up. What should I tell the HR in 2 scenarios. 1. I had already started Interviewing and haven't mentioned that I was layed off. What should I tell if I get selected? 2. If a opportunity comes to start Interviewing for seperate company, should I mention about ty current company or no? PS. The work in current organisation is not that good and it's a contractual role.

Hello folks, recently one of my friend got laid off. The new company is requesting for any doc/email or acknowledgement. However, he only received FnF and nothing. Wanted to understand if any company gives the doc or any acknowledgement that can be treated as a proof? And any suggestions to tackle this?

I'm currently working on an FTE job - wherein the offer letter its mentioned "During the term of your employment with the Company, you may not engage in any employment or act in any way, which either conflicts with your duties and obligations to the Company, or is contrary to the policies or the interests of the Company." Now, I'm getting enough time and I want to consider working in a 0-1 startup, and the new company I'm joining will know about my current employer - The above mentioned is the only clause the current employer have regarding working in other company. Can the current employer legally put a case anytime in the future if they get to know this? - what are the loopholes I can use here? What position I can join in as (Consultant, Advisory role) - Still an early career professional in order to avoid conflict afterwards. Thank you for your help!!

I worked at company X from 2016-2021. Left March 2021, but the next thing I joined was in late 2022. Between that time, first I was preparing for Masters, got in, but ultimately decided to not go. It took 8 months as the market was really bad and I was unprepared. Now, when I am looking to switch from current job, I have gotten a couple of queries around why the gap etc. I originally thought I will explain the situation but now to prevent getting filtered out in screening, is it okay to write company X tenure from March 2021 to March 2022, reducing the gap? All help/inputs from experienced folks is appreciated 🙏🏽

Hii, I'm a front-end developer having around 3 years of work experience. I got laid-off in 2023 just after 1.8years in an organisation. Then I joined another company and got laid off in 6 months. Now I have an offer from early stage startup but I'm too scared to accept it because of my experience. But on the other hand I don't have any offer as well. Will it look bad on my resume. I don't know... I've started thinking that something is wrong with me otherwise what is the chances of getting laid off twice within same year. First I loose my peace of mind because of work pressure and then I loose my work... pretty f**cked up situation. I have never been this unde confident. What do you think shall I take the offer from startup again or wait few more months or more to get into good mnc??

This is kinda weird and unexpected - It has just been a couple of months since I left my previous company (a Unicorn) from a senior role in business. I left on good terms due to reasons like : Lack of personal growth in sales-led roles and being in the same industry for long. I had just moved from BLR to Gurgaon to a new startup (run by a conglomerate) and it has not exactly gone as per my expectations - no Hybrid WFH option (WFH is not very common in non-tech domains too); extreme micromanagement and the weather+vibes in Gurgaon (no offence please). Now, my previous company has called me back for a strategy role. I'm super confused: 1. I prefer BLR any day 2. I prefer working in Hybrid mode any day 3. But I left my previous company due to stagnation in sales roles. The role offered to me now is a Strategy+ Partnership one. 4. I am not exactly sure how I will tell my current employer about this. It will be a dark mark?

So I switched my company recently, pay is decent. But I am not liking it here. Just had an interview with another company in 15 days of joining the current(switched) company and got to know that I couldn't clear the last round :( I told HR that I am still in my previous company, I have 2 other offers but still looking out as I have some days before joining the new company. Gave sugar coated answers as to why I want to join you guys Till what time can I tell HRs that I have not switched yet, and have other offers. Soon 1st month's pay will be credited at the new company and it'll start showing in PF in background checks I guess? If I tell the HRs that it's been a month at new company they'll ask shit load of questions why you want to switch so early and blah blah

Right now I am looking for a new job because of a layoff in my own company. I have recently applied for a new job. I didn't get a hike and they even decreased the basic pay in their shared CTC Structure. The in-hand is the same as my previous company but my basic salary is impacted. Should I accept the offer or let it go?
