Does stable money levy a fine on coming late to the office?

Half day salary cut for every 3 days you're late is pretty freakin messed up. Curious to know what other ancient capatilist policies do corporates have in place to exploit all of us?

Shouldn't the office parking be free for all the companies?? We are coming to office for official purpose and we only pay for parking the vehicle, especially when there is no free cab service provided.

My company (startup) hasn't deposited any epf amount since July 2023. Does this mean they can deposit anytime they want? This should be on time right?

I had joined new org in July 2022 last year and had submitted my previous org form16 and salary slips with monthly tax deductions shown in them. Now today my tax consultant informed that since I had not submitted form 12b to new employer, the 250000 basic exemption has been counted twice and now I have to pay 30 percent of 250000 ie approx 80000 rupees!! I don’t understand this as I was under impression that each monthly tax is being deducted and there is now way there can be shortfall in my tax deduction. Please help me if this correct or incorrect and if it’s mistake on my part any way to reduce penalty.

*IMPORTANT* Monday morning and nobody at office. We have no option but to force strict rules now: 1. If you arrive any later than 9:55 in office, it will be marked as half day leave. 2. Lunch breaks are supposed to be max 40 mins long. I accept basic courtesy of following this, if not, I’ll tag people on the group. 3. All leaves requests need to be emailed to me.
