Hi Folks,

Recently I received offer for Infosys for associate consultant role. But my joining was scheduled in last week of October which was not feasible due to my 90 days notice period. I had discussion with the HR guy and he agreed to reschedule it to mid of December i.e. after my LWD at current company. And I put papers just after that. As my onboarding date was not changed on portal even after a week, I called HR yesterday and he said he is yet to change it. I am now worried about it as till now I dont have any other offer in hand. Do Infosys revoke offers in scenario where we ask for change in joining date?

I have a offer letter from infosys. And the date of joining is  next month end. But i have to extend DOJ and i mailed to concerned HR and he revert back and asked “please confirm your LWD” and then i gave him my LWD after counting 90 days from current date. And also i have heard that infosys usually change doj. Please help me can i resign??

I am holding an offer from EY gds india for the position of 
Senior Consultant, they provided me joining date as 15 july 
Whereas my notice period end on 25 july.
Have ask hr to revise the same he told me , try if you can 
Negotiate the notice period in current org ,if not then drop us
An email after the month will revise the joining date .
Is this normal?
As I already resigned in my current organisation so little bit worried About this ,as HR person is hardly reply (as usual)

They are stating pre- bgv and internal approval is happening. Any one has any idea about how many days will it take for internal approvals as my role is salesfforce developer

Hi. I have done all rounds of interview with infosys and last HR round, i got verbal confirmation from HR that i get offerletter soon.
From aug 24 till now, the portal shows "decision pending". Any one have any idea when they will release the OL.
Will it take normally this much time?

I have received offer from infosys. They have provided me a link for infosys launchpad where I need to upload a bunch of documents. I have already done that. Now after that 1 month has passed. Will they initiate background checks automatically? Will I receive any notification? Or it will be initiated at the time of my joining?

I got offer from Capgemini, joining date is 31st May.
My last working day in current organization is also 31st May, I requested for next day 3rd June to Capgemini. 
It's hired for the HSBC client. 
I have put down my paper and now Capgemini Is saying I have to join to 31st May itself or the offer will be revoked. 
I tried to convince Cognizant my lwd was 3rd June so It preponed to 31st May still Capgemini HR is not picking up the phone and has no answer.

Recently I cracked Oracle, however, I want to explore more opportunities. I am applying to jobs but not getting any reverts from other employers. Reason being I think I am getting low balled on offer. After trying and applying to about 100 jobs and getting rejected few silly things coming to ky mind like below - 
I was thinking to post on my linkedin that I cracked Oracle interview so that people notice me (Not sure if its a good move as of now). 
Will it help if I mention this Oracle offer when reaching out to recruiters.

Any tips how can I attract recruiters to my profile?

I requested new company’s hr for extending  my joining date as my  current company manager isn’t releasing early . As a result need to get joining date extended by 2 weeks

Hr informed he will need to get approvals and will get back next week Monday. I also shared him mail as well but didnt get any reply from his side.

So this is the first time that I am leaving a job because I have an offer in hand.

The offer letter has a joining 2 months from now because my current notice period is 2 months.

I am worried that if I sign it now and then go resign, my current company might create issues and say that due to some delay or something, my last working day will be a bit later than exactly 2 months and I won't be able to join the new company on the agreed upon date.

But I also don't want to resign before I have signed the new offer, so that the new offer is confirmed.

Do you have any advice for me?
