ESG Roles Salary

Joined big 4 recently, after MBA, thought would land-up in strategy roles but placed in functional ERP role, Considering fresher with 0 tool knowledge in SAP, post mba along with 3.5 yrs of exp in amazon this is a fresh start for me. So thinking to move towards ESG as this motivates me a lot to work, how is this space, to move lateral in same org need 1.5 yrs mandarory exp in same firm, Want to apply with same package outside but i know would get less benefits with what i have now, but atleast would start working on ESG field and grow from here. How is this industry in India, would like to know more thoughts

I'm switching PM jobs from my existing company (Series E unicorn) where I had a good ESOP policy to a smaller company (just past Seed stage, raising Series A). Weirdly, they're not offering me a proper ESOP package (vague figures, no useful $ values mentioned in the offer) even though the salary offer is pretty good. Company culture is good & team seems happy during my interactions. Should I be worried? Any suggestions on how I can approach this convo with co-founder are welcome too.

Hi, I got an offer from a Series B startup and they are giving me 3000 shares of ESOPs vested over 4 years. Right now the value of each shares are worth $5 and has a potential to grow after new funding rounds this year. I feel 3000 shares is less and want to negotiate for more. In your experience can anyone tell me how much ESOPs (shares) have you received from new startups? And was it benefecial in the long run? Any input is appreciated.

Hello All, I interviewed with a startup recently and some of their policies around esops was something I encountered for the first time in my career, so wanted the expert advice of the community on next steps. Surprise one: ESOPs will be allocated post probation period of 3 months and vesting starts from there and not the date of joining, I was surprised on this but upon discussion with the company POC I was given a reason of the legal fees involved, which sounds fair but the vesting schedule is it employee favourable? Surprise two: They shared an offer letter with only the fixed component and said ESOPs will be evaluated post completion of probation period basis performance. Upon further discussing in this I was informed that this is a standard format their VC(sequoia, a16z and elevation) have approved. Is this true because I asked around few of my friends and all of them said esops are an integral part of the startup compensation and all of my and their offer letters historically had esops mentioned along with their value. Wrt to point 2 an I asking too much or some practice has changed in the industary which I’m unaware about. Also esop value post probation evaluation, is it employee friendly as the employee is in non negotiable position, isn’t it ?

Hey Folks, I need your help to understand the Pay scale structure at Amazon and the range they would offer for the role that I have been selected for My Background YOE - 7 Years Location - Bangalore Current Overall is 26LPA+ Current Salary Structure is 75% Fixed & 25% Variable Pay+ ESOPs Middle Management at Startups Profile - Sales/ Biz Dev & Revenue Operations No PostGrad yet Graduation from Tier 1 Commerce College I understand people would have the views about WLB & Culture at Amazon, I am more keen on exploring Amazon as an organisation for soft landing after having worked 7+ years in High Growth and Hustle Culture at Startups I am yet to receive the offer letter from Amazon HR, I need help to understand the following - Salary Range for L5 Roles @ Amazon (I've been told they are from (25-40 LPA) - Hike % I can share with HR folks, that won't be a deterrent for them ( Example I am looking forward to a 60%+ on Fixed and 30+% on overall as a bare minimum) - Also how is the CTC structure at Amazon, do they include Gratuity/Benefits/Allowances as a part of the CTC - Range for ESOPs/Shares at Amazon, since they don't have a variable pay structure If you're in Bangalore, Beer(s) 🍺 on me, if we crack this well :)
