I was contacted on by EF over LinkedIn and applied pre pandemic. Had a interview with some one with fake American accent (Indian guy). Interview lasted for 15 mins, his question were what you want to do and why know. From my interview he didn't appear to grasp of my ideas and got rejected. In any case, they spend 12.5lakhs over 6 months for 10% equity. I can invest that myself easily. 
  
 PS: Due to pandemic and personal issues, couldn't start, the same idea on machine learning raised 100 million in US. I have my plans to startup and be successful in a year. Grapevine is always there to send a update :)

1.Just graduated from BBA finance in April  2024 and I am unable to find a job in the finance sector and generally want to post like a financial analyst , I want to go into the investment banking sector.Any tips. 
2.I also am preparing for an MBA but I want to do a job for 2 years before perceiving my MBA, I am living in Kalyan and unable to find a job for a financial analyst post as a fresher can anybody give me some tips or referral 
3. My family is also telling me to prepare for the banking exam as I am not unable to get a job

I'm a final year Industrial design student from Blr, and I've been wanting to get into management after my bachelors. The typical path to take would be to write either CAT or GMAT to get into a management school. 
However, getting into an MBA course isn't my goal, and i want to get valuable and relevant experience before I write any of the exams. And the best place to get relevant experience in management (product management) is by getting into a product startup. I have also finished a course on product management. 
Now, i am willing to assist and learn from a founder and be a part of a startup in it's initial stages. I believe this experience will provide me with a lot of market exposure and also help me learn the ways of a founder, as I'm an aspiring entrepreneur too. If any founder of a product company is willing to provide me with this opportunity, I'll send over my portfolio and resume, and it would be highly appreciated!

Change of Career path

So, I am an analytics guy with almost 5.5 YoE under my belt. My latest transition was to Phonepe that I made this year (feeling shitty here already, given the kind of work creating almost no impact)
I saw a post on LinkedIn where the CEO of this startup recently raised some pre-seed funding (~1.5mn). Since I was following them for almost 6-7 months before this, I reached out to the founder on LinkedIn. 
We first had a virtual call where we got to know each other and after that discussion, he called me over to his place where we further talked about the idea, the scope and the future while also discussing what I could bring to the table. Post that, we met again, and this time with the other co-founder who deep-dived a slight bit into the tech stack that I had worked on.
It seems that all is going well, but the founder, in the first face to face meeting told me that for the time being (for almost the next 3-4 months), he'll be able to pay me a monthly amount which is less than half of my current in hand pay, post which it'll be reviewed and adjusted accordingly. How do I negotiate this now? Also, since the team size is super small (only 5 full time folks and one customer support part timer), how do I negotiate on what equity I take (looking for a benchmark number here)?
