Exam pressure

I am a 26F, 3yoe in advertising and marketing. I'm tired of being in agency side and serving the brand. I wanted to shift to brand side for that I'm planning to give CAT and get an MBA from IIMs. To be honest I feel super underconfident to give a try. I am disappointed with myself and throwing a lot of self hate for this attitude towards my preparation. Anyone who has cracked CAT could teach me how to overcome this would be highly appreciated. Hey people, I just started preparing for CAT'24. A bit about myself- Graduated last year, with an Engineering Degree, working as an Associate Product Manager (~1 yr). I've started with IMS modules and solved a few previous year sectionals, not complete papers though. I take out time to study on weekends and on days I work from home. Could anyone suggest a strategy; as to what topics to target first, what modules/ mock series to purchase, if needed etc. Thanks, looking forward to your suggestions.

Need some guidance for preparing for GMAT and CAT together in coming months. I have this understanding that pattern is different but underlying syllabus is same. Need nuances to some questions 1. Is this practically possible? 2. What materials to use for preparation 3. How much time is needed for GMAT and will there be sufficient time for CAT 4. Which test series to follow in CAT and GMAT Some context: Giving CAT and GMAT first time. No issues regarding mindset needed for competitive exams as have given them before. Also have mostly weekends for preparation due to job profile.

Hey all, I'm currently working at a boutique consulting firm, which pays well (~1.3 years) but has terrible working hours. I am planning to take CAT this year (already preparing for 2-3 months). Since CAT is just 90 days away I am thinking of quitting my job or at least putting in a notice period (as it will reduce my workload and expectations from me) and focusing on CAT for the days left. I don't think l'll be able to give 100% effort to the CAT exam in my current job scenario. Also, are there any alternative suggestions from folks in the same industry or anyone, by which I can get some time off (maybe medical leave for 20-30 days) or something which will give me time to prepare without quitting?

just like we need physical workouts to keep our bodies healthy, we need to do mental exercises to keep our brain sharp do you do any brain exercises intentionally?

Hi! I’m in a huge dilemma and looking out for any advice I can get. I currently have 1.5 years of work ex and want to pursue MBA. Im confused if I should complete 2 years of work ex and then quit to do full time mba prep or quit right away to do prep. My quant is weak so I will need a lot of practice to crack CAT. 2 year criteria comes in so that I can keep options like ISB open as it requires a minimum of 2 year work ex. Any advice would be highly appreciated!

Hi, 24M working in one of the WITCH having 1.3 years of experience total. I've graduated from Tier-3 engineering college in 2021. Last year joined through off campus. I have worked on two short term projects, one is Migration and done basic scripting as development experience there, In second one done manual testing work. In March this year, my second project got completed and I got release from project. I was on bench for few days after that I got a support project which initially i thought I can do some enhancement work here, but utter disappointment this project is, 97% tickets here are Access requests and maximum work of 2 hrs daily. I don nothing apart from mailing clients n shiet and sometimes call with clients. I got frustrated because of this. Now, If I ask for release from this project now, will they accept it? Or will it impact my year end rating, I'm getting afraid now. Please help me what should I do.
