A junior of mine( in YOE) has received a Sr. Data Analyst role at an MNC( well-renowned). Can you please suggest if the salary structure looks good or not? CTC: 19LPA Fixed: 18LPA Variable: 1L Location: Bangalore.( There were options for Gurgaon & Chennai too) YoE: ~5 Citing the present scenario, let me know your pov. Thanks!

Pay can certainly be better, I'm guessing the base he/she had earlier wasn't close to this, and the HR is playing the percentage hike game.

A good profile with 3 YOE should be capable of getting this sort of pay. So again depends on the profile.
Yeah right, I agree. However, the candidate was in a different field for the first 3.5 years. & Then switched to Analytics. Also, as you said, the previous CTC was low( ~50% of this).

SDA and the CTC for 5yoe seems low to me. But it depends a lot on BG of the person too ig. (Just comparing it against my current profile and pay)
Got it, actually the candidate had switched to Analytics after the first experience of 3.5years. could you share an approx range as per your pov?
If all 5yoe was in analytics, then analytics manager position is easily achievable. Pay in that role is usually 30LPA+
