Avoid it like the plague, especially if you are looking for PM roles. Go for it only if you don't have any other option in market, want to make a switch from mediocre job, and don't care at all about your mental and physical health.
PS staying in office till 11pm is expected now even if you don't have work. Just have to show face.

I have heard they've pip culture too and they fire people quite frequently, it's a shame how so many startups in India are operating

What made it worst? The pay, the culture, or your manager?

What's the worst company you have worked for?

ICICI Bank, they had a strict sign in timing policy where if you are late to corporate office, half day salary would be cut, It would be reversed only when manager approves. The sign out time used to be 5.15pm, but you would be made to sit till 8 pm by most of the managers even if your job is done for the day. A sign out at 6 pm used to be called as half day by most of the managers. 
 I heard now they donot have this dictatorial policy.

I've been hearing some pretty bad things about Navi's work culture - esp. in the analytics teams. Apart from the 12-14 hour days, apparently you're not even allowed to take leaves. If you want to go home for a few days, you're asked to apply for wfh for those days. If you want to wfh, you're asked to apply for a sick leave and then work nevertheless.
 
Can someone from Navi or otherwise confirm this?
