Finding investors

I have an idea to build an application, where can I pitch / find an angel investor? No shark tank, please.

I know someone who wants to start a retail store for high end medical equipment (1 lakh to 1 Cr per machine) in central India. He has an established presence in the market for over 20 years working with companies, hospitals and colleges across India. He's been talking to a minister who is apparently interested in taking ownership of it, with him primarily as a consultant, but I don't want him to get involved with politicians. Where can I find other high ticket investors who'd be interested in such a venture?

I am building a D2C fashion brand and need to raise money (20 Lakhs) to get things off the ground. I am from Tier-I IIT and a single founder. I have been trying to approach investors through multiple mediums. Cold mailing / LinkedIn. But things haven't worked. College alumni also don't seem to respond, let alone give any warm intro. How should I go about the fund raising process?

1. I am having a strong problem statement, which is thoroughly validated, along with a business plan, but I am not working or starting it as I lack confidence because I don't have a team in place. ( I am an IIM graduate and currently a product manager - giving these details just to get a sense of my background, which might help in the type of suggestions from your side). 2. How can I find a co-founder/partner/core team member? Please advise me on where to look for co-founders or people that share a similar mindset. Hey, I think I have a decent (tech) idea with good product market fit and got it validated from few people in its industry. I’ve started working on an MVP with the team, and we think we can develop it in a month. What should we do apart from it, we want to get funding as soon as the mvp is made. What all should I know, any resources, what registration and everything else.

Recently, we encountered a significant roadblock in our quest for funding. A potential investor turned us down, citing that hit us hard: we didn't have a fully functioning MVP. Now, you might be wondering, what exactly our MVP was showing? Well it wasn't the flashy trading platform we dream of. Instead it considered a basic interface with stock prices displayed here and there. The cold reality is that users couldn't buy or sell any assets, nor could they access other advanced features. Why, you ask ? The answer lies in the complex regulatory landscape of the financial industry. To facilitate the trading functionality, a platform must obtain a SEBI license. This license requires rigorous compliance with financial regulations, and crucially proof of "financial backing". Investors won't understand that we need a significant amount of funding to take off. Without it, we'd be swimming in the shallow waters.

Hey guys, I am currently struggling with my startup and it’s product launch. Having talked to most of the VCs and getting ghosted, what should I do? I have built the product and it’s ready to be launched, have a small team but I am a solo founder. Applied to YC and even got referral from 2-3 YC founders, still no interview. Looking for $500k. Acquiring funding for a startup in india has become a hassle. I myself have been doing research on seed funding Vc's and angel investors. All they ask is pitch deck and LinkedIn profile. Which they don't even go through and just reply with an email saying we are not eligible for funding. On the other side US and other countries are getting funding at the ideation stage. I guess we can't even go for crowdfunding. Started building MVP, but halfway through the hurdle and unable to resume the development due to limited resources.
