The application was for students of some selected tier 1 college. Most probably the company doesn't visits some colleges with lazy students

There's no such thing as "off campus drive in select colleges". Either there's offcampus opening with college weightage, or there's oncampus drive. Also some companies have to post their oncampus openings on their career portal because that's their process, so the opening is visible but not everyone can apply. And just because you made the lazy taunt, I'm from a tier 1 college where Flipkart mandatorily visits

Can you please focus on the main question?

Is some organisational restructuring going on for which they are hiring?

I received a FTE offer from Amazon for the SDE 1 role in September last year from my campus recruitment drive. I am supposed to join in June/July this year. How secure is my offer? Will I be affected by the ongoing layoffs?

So just finished my graduation I thought I'll cry about not having a job but I got a freelancing contract as a technical trainer.

I want to become a software engineer, the current contract pays we somewhat 40-50k pm but work is hectic as I need to put a lot of physical labour,
But the reason I choose this 1. Current market 2. I didn't want to sit unemployed as personal situation is not that good.

So what should I do? Like continue the same and I'm sure they will pay more cuz I got to from the manager that I have a good explanation skills or try to go get another work even it's paying very less.

The reason I'm asking strangers on the net is bcz it's so complicated that I can't even tell my parents about it....

So guys please if you have a suggestion or personal opinion feel free to give.

So in july Flipkart initiated a off campus drive for freshers and initially they were taking interviews and all but since last week no update to anybody i have many friends that participated and got shortlisted for interview some even went to HM round and several gave their ps/ds rounds but since last week no updates . Can someone in talent acquisition of Flipkart tell whats happening

In Zomato and Blinkit they putting pressure on employees based out of Bangalore office to either relocate to Gurgaon office or creating situation where they end up resigning

Got a call from one acquaintance looking for opportunities outside Flipkart  informing me that downsizing discussions are going on amid hiring freeze which is ongoing since last 1 year.

I was referred by someone for a job at Flipkart but the application is asking for too much info like Aadhaar card, PAN card, UAN card and more. I have just been referred and no interview has been scheduled yet.
