- Jaipur-based D2C men’s grooming brand Menhood is set to go public with an NSE Emerge listing. - The IPO will open on July 16 and close on July 19, with a price band of INR 71-75 per share. - Menhood aims to raise INR 19.5 Cr at the upper end of the price band, offering 25,95,200 equity shares. - Proceeds will be used to expand product offerings and enhance operational capabilities. - Menhood will be the third new-age startup to list on NSE Emerge this year, following TAC Infosec and Trust Fintech. - Invesco valued its 28,844 shares of Swiggy at $219.2 Mn as of April 2024, translating to a $12.3 Bn valuation for the foodtech company. - Pine Labs' valuation was pegged at $3.5 Bn at the end of April 2024, down from $3.8 Bn in January 2024. - The valuation cuts come as Swiggy prepares for its $1.25 Bn IPO, having filed its draft red herring prospectus with SEBI. - Despite the cuts, Swiggy's latest valuation is still 15% higher than its $10.7 Bn valuation during its $700 Mn decacorn round in 2022. - The valuation adjustments follow a period of funding challenges and losses for Indian unicorns, though investor sentiment has recently improved. - The labour ministry announced that Paytm will not recover the joining bonus from a former employee and will pay the notice period payment. - This decision followed a meeting between Paytm representatives and the regional labour commissioner in Bengaluru. - The resolution came after multiple ex-employees alleged forced termination and sought reinstatement. - Paytm attributed recent layoffs to AI-led automation, aiming for significant cost savings. - The company has faced regulatory challenges and financial losses, with its stock down over 25% year-to-date. Hey everyone, I was currently interning in Growth at a fintech YC startup. I want to switch roles to founder’s office intern or PM intern. Any leads would be great. About me: I am in my 8th Sem of B.Tech from a tier 2 college. I have built a startup from college, incorporated the entity, got in incubated by Microsoft and took it to shark tank Indian season 2 finals. But we couldn’t raise funds. Thanks, any help would be really appreciated
