As Software Engineers, it might be bit difficult starting out with first freelance gig or contract job.

I was able to secure one in college with about 50k/month for about 4months working as a back end engineer for an Indian SaaS company and international client.

Great learning and great pay for a newbie.

Also if you have a full time job and freelance gig. how do you juggle between both? Keeping in mind you also need to take personal time and time for fitness.

I've handled copywriting, creative strategy, and execution for brands for the last 8+ years. Many of those in agencies, and the last few in a B2B SaaS tech company.

Because of my agency background, I know I'm pretty underpaid, but since that can change now, I wanna know what's the baseline for my profile considering my experience.

I kill it with creative requirements for branding, paid promotions and literally anything under the sun that the brand needs. Nothing long form, because that's a different ball game altogether.

I'm getting just under 20LPA right now.
I'm up for appraisals soon. I've been with this company for 2+ years.
Please tell me what's the salary bracket I should be in.

Wanted to take this opportunity to reflect anonymously at my career in the it industry. Frankly I thought I d be somewhere else at this point. 
I never enjoyed computers, was forced to take up engineering as it is with most indians out there. Initially a full stack dev, fell in love with front end and fell out of love with it in 6 years. Enjoyed trekking, hiking and took it up full time, When covid hit the income from it dried up had no other way but to get back to the industry again. Started freelancing and made alot of money in the past few years. But frankly I am not great at it nor I enjoy it much. It just pays the bills.
