Nope. 
 Generative AI is just too good for it to die down like the crypto train. 
 Crypto trend had always been very vague and had a lot of uncertainties wrt to acceptance of crypto money , govt support , no fundamentals behind value of crypto. 
  
 On the other hand Generative AI is literally too good in it's initial phase itself. It has no dependency on govt. Apart from cybersecurity issue I don't see any other reason why GenAi would fail. 
 It's only going to get better with time. 
  
 But then again it's my personal opinion and I can be horribly wrong as well :)

Have seen atleast a couple of trends die out, which were introduced to us as "future" i.e blockhain / crypto - we aren't seeing people talk about it as much

Now many offices firing if employees not reporting to office
