Gap in resume

Hey folks. I was unemployed from Jan 2020 till Apr 2021 when my MBA began. Got laid off from IT co in Jan as most all our clients were abroad where pandemic had started and their businesses were totally stopped. Prepared for CAT (98 percentile) meanwhile along with some online courses and basic social work. Should I mention the gap year in my resume or skip it completely?
