IIT candidates are mainly one exam wonders. who fetch premium in market due to brand value. some times new products that get launched during slowdown dont sell at premium. Its just bad luck,
Maruthi is the largest car manufacturer in India by market share. how many remember the car Kizashi? its like that.

If you break this down by rank, you pretty much know why this is the case. Recently some students have been incensed that companies ask to mention the jee advanced rank on their resume, as it is biased acc to them. In these batches, your realistic chances of unearthing quality is same as that of calling a coin toss. No wonder placements would suffer.

Isn't he cream of the cream? If you are comparing the most famous chaiwala (after our own PM, ofc), then shouldn't he be compared to the best starting package from IITB.
IITB number might still be less, but comparable.

The shelf life/peak period of an influencer is rather short, so they're making hay while the sun shines (read: their entourage, managers, agents).
